This is a gem of a place where you feel welcome straightaway. Lizzie and David are informal and generous hosts, from the initial tour of the grounds – the hens, the sheep, the kitchen garden – to sharing their knowledge of the area and some insider advice on how to beat the Salisbury rush hour.
The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable and the freshly-cooked breakfasts, supplemented with a lavish variety of fruit, and served in the conservatory with its wonderful morning light, would put many a larger hotel to shame. I hope to return.

We recently returned from our second stay at Liz & Davids wonderful farmhouse. It was every bit as good as our first visit, the breakfasts are lovely (not good for the waist line) with such a wide selection from fresh fruit through to a full English. As before we had all the comforts of home with the quality of a good class hotel. We will not be looking for any other B&B when we next visit the area.

Lizzie and David are the perfect hosts in this ideally situated B&B. We had a really relaxing stay and found the rooms to be spotlessly clean and tidy. Lizzie's attention to detail is fantastic - especially over the Easter period, with a pot of small chocolate eggs in each room and a suprise for guests at the breakfast table! The location is perfect for sightseeing in the New Forest but is sufficiently away from the busier locations to just take things slow. Lizzie and David have a good knowldege of the local areas - we ate in many of their recommended pub restaurants and were not disappointed!
We had read many of the reviews before our stay and we can guarantee that you will have a fabulous stay with very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Stayed here with friends while visiting Salisbury for a wedding. Situated around 10-15 minutes south of the town on the main route in, and as such is easy to find, with nice walks in the vicinity to stetch the legs and clear the head. Owner and staff very friendly, welcoming, and the cooked breakfast was superb. Rooms very comfortable and clean - highly recommended.

This was the first B&B my sister and I stayed at during our 10 day trip to the UK and Ireland. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners David and Lizzie. We were taken to our room - a twin room. It was set apart from the house and was very lovely. It was nice and tidy, nicely decorated, and the bathroom was nicely appointed. The grounds were beautiul as well. David and Lizzie provided us with some recommendations for lunch and dinner.: Lambs Inn - cute Pub, but the food wasn't all the great. But dinner was out of this world - The Fountain Inn. It's just across the road. Very quaint. Breakfast in the morning was really delicious and served in their beautiful atrium. I would definitely want to stay here again.
